Rehema’s Story

Evangelist and founder of Save a Life Refuge Center International has been going for outreach way back before Save a Life was founded and in the process of preaching the Gospel and winning souls for our Lord Jesus Christ, she kept moving in different areas as she prayed for many and surely, they accepted Christ. When out spreading the Gospel, she met with various kinds of needs, and challenges that most people were going through. She noticed that poverty had really brought many into captivity and bondage forcing them to go out and indulge in wrong ways of living e.g. prostitution, stealing and so on.

One day when in outreach they decided to visit a place by the name Pindua to go to preach the gospel and while there praying for some women who had acknowledged Jesus Christ, they brought to her attention that there was a certain woman who was ailing for the longest period and she had given up on her life and actually the family and friends had neglected and abandoned her due to her sickness, expenses and costs they had incurred, it had taken a year while ailing. Evangelist Zipporah took the initiative to go see her and pray for her healing.

The situation was worse than she thought. This woman had been bleeding for the longest period and had cervical cancer, and in the condition, she was in was horrible cause she was neglected, she could not fend for herself. She had actually given up completely and was even telling the people who cared to visit to just bury her alive since the pain was too much for her to bear only for her to let her know that she was diagnosed with cervical cancer and for that reason the treatment part she could not access due to the poverty level which was frustrating her.

Zipporah prayed earnestly for her without ceasing for days. She went ahead and took her to hospital for medication with whatever little she had and stood by her till she was back on her feet.

Remember the bleeding dried up just as the woman with the issue of blood, who touched the Lord’s garment and her faith healed her, the same happened to Rehema. Glory to God! Now Rehema is strong and healthy up on her feet doing her (hotel) business. I truly appreciate and thank God that through Rehema the entire community of Pindua is transformed both spiritually and physically.
